We've had a string of beautiful sunny days. I love it.
As I was driving home the other day I was so taken by how pretty my drive home is that I snapped some photos from my car so I could remember this area and how beautiful it can be. The scenery is so very different from any other place I've lived.
I love these little poppies. They seem to pop up everywhere.
And then there are the cows. Cows, cows, cows, everywhere! One great thing about the cow farms is the availability of fresh cheese, ice cream, butter, and milk. That is if you don't mind it being unpasteurized. Apparently, no one seems to be concerned with the dangers associated with drinking raw milk. I've never tasted the unpasteurized milk but the cheese and ice cream are fabulous!
Look at these cute sheep!
This field is just waiting to bloom. In Belgium everything seems to grow at an incredibly pace. Sometimes when we go away for a few days we're amazed at how quickly the crops have grown when we return.
And looks like this one has already started to grow.
Once we leave Belgium this will all seem like one wonderful dream. But until then I'll continue to appreciate and enjoy the real thing. ;)
