This week's Photo Challenge was Home.
Lots of images come to mind when I think of "home"... the house I grew up in, my grandparents house, our amazing apartment in Germany, the feeling I get when I land in New York or California... I can go on & on.
Perhaps I found the topic so challenging because of all the different places I've lived. Everytime we move, it takes a while before the house becomes our "Home".
I chose this photo because I just adore the color of this bathroom along with these Moroccan candle holders. It's me. Everytime I paint a room I feel like I'm adding a bit of myself to the space. Making it feel like home. So for me, adding color, filling the space with things I love & treasure, and creating new memories with my family & friends in my new home is what it's all about.
What about you? How does your house evolve into a home?

Love those candle holders! Looks like some of my earrings-LOL. My parents and I moved twice, internationally. Both times we were only able to take a few personal items, other than our clothes. Regardless of where our new house was, it was those few ornments and "old" pictures that made it our home. I guess it's the sentiment and memories of those items that transformed a cold, strange place into a home.

I so need to paint my place!!!! I agree. The color that you choose for your home does reflect who you are. My condo evolves into a home with all the memories that I continue to make in it. I'd be nice to have you visit me one of these days so that I have a memory of you being here.
